Wednesday Evening
Wedding Inspiration Boards
I happen to be looking at True and Wesson's blog yesterday-both Sarah True and Lucinda Wesson are huge creative influences to my wedding...and I saw that Sarah had posted an inspiration board about my wedding. I love what she created up top..
this is what Sarah wrote about the board:
"This board was created for one of my September couples, getting married at the Pine Orchard Yacht and Country Club in Branford, CT. A gorgeous venue on the CT shoreline with spectacular water views. Kate described her vision for the wedding as garden romantic, elegant, vintage with layers of texture and lace, and unique to the two of them. Working with Miss Wesson (Chocolate Creative Design) to tie together the elements of the design and personalization of the details through the paper, this is truly going to be a special event!"

Count Your Blessings
B with his mom and aunt
Nan with her grandson, how freaking cute, right?!!
I am so grateful for the small things and am especially counting my blessings today. I got the news last night through an e-mail sent on by my future mother-in-law that Nan (B's wonderful aunt) is doing very well with her lung cancer, the tumors have decreased in size and the lung cancer activity is decreasing and her spine is having growth in her bone(she had to get part of it removed). The last line in Nan's e-mail sent a shiver down my back as I read, "My whole family has been my major inspiration for wanting and fighting to live." Nan is truly a remarkable person with an enormous heart of gold whose presence brightens your day and whose words of wisdom make you grow whenever you are around her. She was a huge presence in B's life and has made a large marking in mine as well, I felt an instant connection the moment I met her.
we all love you so much Nan....
I have to tact something onto the end of this post... but need to write it far beneath the real news of the day. Life throws little blessings your way all the time and this morning after fearing I lost not only my wallet and B's (long story) I found it at work..laying under my desk, without anyone taking it in the night. Thank you God for looking out for me (even in my moment of carelessness)!!

The weekend was quite busy and started off with us getting home late on Thursday night. On Friday I had a church appointment at 8:15, a wedding band apt, a decor/day of the wedding planner apt, and a dress fitting, phew-crazy but fun!~
